Race around island of Krk

The ultimate sailing spectacle at sea and the international navigation regatta will be held for a full three days. The 6th edition of this attractive multi-day regatta will be held on September 20-22. The race around Krk has gained popularity in the sailing community, recognized as one of the most attractive sporting events in Kvarner and contributes to the promotion of tourism in the area.

According to the announcements, about thirty boats will participate this year and in addition to the big racing boats, there will also be the Mini 650, Melges 24, J70 and JustinTen classes. The race around Krk is in the CRO ORC Offshore Cup. At the finish, sailors will be waiting for secure berths and the full comfort of the Mitan Marine, where the winner will be announced with the final reception.

The start will be in front of the Selce port, where check-in, sailing and equipment inspection, welcome reception and final preparations for the start will take place. The start of the regatta will be on Friday, September 20 at 7 pm in front of the port of Selce, and the finish in front of the Mitan Marina in Novi Vinodolski on Sunday, September 22 at 2 pm. With good weather conditions this year, it is expected to break the record of 8 h 8 min. and 50 s from 2014.
