Krk Music Fest

Krk Music Fest, from19 to 21 June , will turn the city of Krk into the centre of good music, entertainment and unique gastronomy.

One of the most anticipated events in the city of Krk, Krk Music Fest, starts on World Music Day and the first day of summer on June 21 and lasts until June 23. until June 25 with a special street food offer at Krk waterfront.

The Krk City Band will open the festival on the waterfront. After them, Ricardo Luque and Amigos will perform at the same location, while the Cabaret show will end the day. On the same day, the folklore society Poljica will perform on Vela placa, and there will also be a concert by the participants of the association Kreativni Krk. Visitors to the Krk Glagolitic Square will be entertained by the Acoustic Project as part of the opening of the 67th Summer Events.

The folklore performance is scheduled for June 22 at Vela Plaka. The program highlights two folklore societies whose specific music, double-voiced close intervals, is included in the UNESCO list of intangible world heritage, while the dances - Krčki tanci - have been declared an intangible cultural asset of the Republic of Croatia.

They will be followed by DJ Sax Live. On the Vela placa square, participants of the Music in Steps Association (MOOK) will also hold a concert that day, and Josip Kaplan will show his singing skills on the same square for the sake of young people.

The highlight of the day will be the performance of the band Queen Sensation, whose sound and energetic performance are certainly reminiscent of the famous British band, and on the Krk waterfront they will revive the unforgettable hits of the band, which has permanently entered the history of the most important rock bands of all time.

Along with music and dance, Krk Music Fest will also bring attractive menus in the Krk City restaurants , which will round off the weekend of enjoyment in the best way.
