Karlovac Dance Festival

The 10th jubilee edition of the Karlovac Dance Festival will be held from August 30 to September 4 in Karlovac. The performance and creative festival program will revive Karlovac's attractive outdoor locations and will present domestic and foreign dance ensembles, collectives, artists.

The Karlovac Dance Festival project aims to support and enrich social, cultural and educational values. Special attention will be paid to knowledge and identity of Karlovac, and also the Croatian dance scene. The goal of this project is to create and maintain an internationally collaborative dance project, and to follow trends in contemporary dance.Dance education that should help build a personal and cultural identity for the city of Karlovac, and with that also its promotion and affirmation in Croatia and abroad.

The festival will be open with a performance by the Chorus line dance company from Salzburg.

Dance performances at several locations in the city and more interesting educational and creative programs will take place with maximum respect for the current epidemic situation and all measures and recommendations. Fans of contemporary dance will still come into their own and enjoy 4 dance performances and 6 more programs.
