European Football Championship

The 16th UEFA EURO 2020, with a year of delay, has officially started and matches will be played in 12 different cities. The championship lasts for a month, until July 11, when the finals will be played at Wembley in London.

Zagreb and Rijeka are among the cities which organized a fan zone at the central square for the football match. Thus, fans will be able to experience the ambience of the stadium in the central fan place in Croatia, the fan zone on Ban J. Jelačić Square in Zagreb, where they can cheer Vatreni and feel the real fan atmosphere. Organizationally and production-wise, this year's fan zone will be at the highest level, through a superbly equipped and designed space for outdoor production and activation zones. With the live broadcast of the match, the fans of the Croatian national team will have the opportunity to watch all the football matches of the European Championship on a large LED screen of 40m2. Excellent entertainment program with numerous Croatian popular performers, a diverse accompanying program and a rich catering and drink offer are also provided.

Rijeka also provided a large screen for the football matches of Vatreni at the Karolina Riječka Pier. Cafes, cities and mass gatherings are already decorated with fan props and it should be emphasized that the Croatian FANS Embassy ZONE is held in absolute compliance with all current epidemiological measures and lasts until July 11, 2021.
