More than half century, every summer in Đakovo a multitude of folklore groups are gathered at the event Đakovački vezovi. Thousands of folk costumes drawn from the trunks of forgetfulness, to thousands of participants from Slavonia and Baranja, throughout Croatia, Europe and the world have brought us the songs, dances and customs of their homeland for decades in Đakovo.
The main event is held every year in July and lasts for three days. It commences on friday with the opening ceremony, and ends on sunday with the program "Slavonia, the land of noblemen".
