More than 11.000 cyclists has been participating in a traditional bicycle tour Zadar-Vir and all those who have once participated in the most beautiful county biking event know what kind of entertainment is expected at the Eastern 29th bicycle race.
After a two-year break, the traditional bicycle race from Zadar to Vir will take place on Easter Monday, April 18. It is one of the most popular gatherings of cycling professionals and recreationists in the Zadar County and will surely delight many fans of cycling and the popular Vir event. The cycling race starts at 10 am on Branimir's coast in Zadar, and the goal is, as always, on Vir's St. George's Square, where a welcome of cyclists, brunches and raffles will be organized with the lucky winners of a package of cycling equipment and a beautiful MTB bike worth about 3,500 kuna.
The main sponsor of the cycling race is the Municipality of Vir, which is also the founder of this cycling association, which has so far been attended by more than 11,000 cyclists from Croatia, Slovenia, Bosnia and Herzegovina, Austria, Hungary, Germany, Netherlands, Czech Republic, Slovakia and Sweden.
