Beer Festival in Karlovac

In 1984. Karlovac's Brewery with the organizational help of town Karlovac, launched the annual celebration of Beer festival, which was held at the City Square in the center of Zvijezda, today's Ban Josip Jelačić Square. The celebration would then begin with the procession that moved from the Karlovac brewery, from the direction of Dubovac, and would end on the already mentioned central city square, while the opening would mark the release of beer that would flow from the central city fountain.

The central stage on the edge of Šanc transforms Karlovac's Promenade into the most cheerful pedestrian zone and a unique green amphitheater and once again will be a gathering place for the people of Karlovac and their guests in the period from 29th of August to 2nd of September. The largest beer festival in Croatia is one of the longest-running domestic events of its type and one of the most prestigious music festivals with a tradition that lasts almost four decades - Beer Days in Karlovac are held for the 38th time. Beer Days are no longer just another festival, they are the larg est beer event in the most beautiful city parks and unique cultural and historical heritage in five festival days gathers visitors from all parts of Croatia and the most recognizable Karlovac event, a strong link between Karlovac beer and Karlovac.
