Here you can also observe the channel Sv. Ante or Šibenik channel which represents the gate of Šibenik towards the open sea and the entrance to the city. At the same time, there is the end of the Krka River and the firth of it, making it very symbolic. The channel is visible from all parts of Šibenik and it is the one of the most beautiful parts of the Adriatic coast and the most sumptuous sea ports in the city. The promenade through the channel is an attraction that finally brings back to Šibenik one of the most valuable city areas, the channel coast of Sv. Ante. The promenade is about 4.5 kilometers long and the walk takes about an hour.
