The city park in the center of Otočac, which you are watching through our camera, was declared the winner in 2012 as part of the ecological and educational project I LOVE CROATIA for the most well-maintained tourist destination in continental Croatia, the GREEN FLOWER, in the category of the most well-maintained park by the Main Office of the Croatian National Tourist Board and the system of tourist boards.
This beautifully landscaped park is a hot spot for all the events of the city of Otočac throughout the year, such as: Eco Etno Gacka, Croatian Walking Festival, Autumn Festival, Trail Race WMTRC Formigal. At this location, it has its own refreshment station, Gacka Run, which becomes an open-air cinema in the summer months, while during Advent it gives the city of Otočac a special holiday atmosphere, and in winter there is also an ice rink.
