Marina Kaštela is located on the south-east coast of Kaštela Bay. The protection of the strong Dalmatian winds is provided by the peninsulas of Marjan and Čiovo and Kozjak Hill. The project is planned in detail and greatly realized, so the Marina Kaštela is a safe harbor for private and charter boats as well as a pleasant vacation spot due to the mild Mediterranean climate.

Among other things, the traffic connection with neighboring cities and European countries is excellent, the nautical structure is rich, and the adequate commercial, administrative and cultural-historical environment due to the proximity of Trogir and Split is an additional plus. All sailors and those who prefer a vacation on the sea will really enjoy this beautiful marina in Kaštela.

Kaštela

Kaštela is a picturesque town of Central Dalmatia.

Kaštela are the name for seven smaller connected places along the coast of Kaštela bay. These are Kaštel Štafilić, Kaštel Novi, Kaštel Stari, Kaštel Lukšić, Kaštel Kambelovac, Kaštel Gomilica and Kaštel Sućurac. Above Kaštela, in the direction of west-east stretches the Kozjak mountain and further east the Mosor mountain.

Most of the Kaštela field is still alternating with vineyards, olive groves, cherry trees and figs, and indigenous Mediterranean vegetation with protected monuments of natural heritage and park architecture. In each of the settlements along the Kaštela bay you will find something interesting.

In Kastel Lukšić it is a mythical castle and a church where the famous lovers, dalmatian Romeo and Juliet, Miljenko and Dobrila, were buried. Their legend about unhappy love is transmitted from generation to generation. Kaštela parks and 1500 years old olive tree Mastrinka will enchant you with their combination of tradition and the beauty of the landscape.

Kaštel Lukšić is otherwise a protected monument of culture and has kept all its originality. It seemed to be out of the sea, and it’s connected with the mainland with a junction at the entrance door.
