The rowing / regatta track on Jarun was built for the 1987 Univerzijada and is 2250 m long. Rowers, kayakers and canoeists train and hold competitions on the regatta track, sailing and windsurfing clubs and swimming marathons perform their sports activities on the Great Lake.
This rowing track was made according to the highest standards (it is still one of the best in the world - this is proved by the fact that the lake for the Athens Olympic Games in 2004 was built according to its dimensions and characteristics). Many sports facilities (rowing hangars, sailing and kayaking clubs and the Jarun Administration building with large stands) have been built within the SRC.
This year, 2021, the rowing track was renovated for the first time (investment of 30 million kuna) due to the holding of the World Rowing Cup. Out of the existing 7 regatta tracks, the eighth regatta course was obtained, the infrastructure of the start part of the regatta course and the arrangement of the existing start number were arranged.
Through this webcam you can often watch live training of our Olympic winners, brothers Valent and Martin Sinković.
