They were built as tombs for Egyptian pharaohs and as temples in honor of the gods.

The Keops pyramid is so large that it can even be seen from the universe, and in front of it there is a sphinx. At the foot of sphinx there is located the entrance to the pyramid. There are still smaller pyramids belonging to the sons of pharaohs and the queens.

As you can see, tourist buses are constantly coming, but the number of tickets is limited to only 150 ticketsm per day to save the interior of the pyramid.
