City squares have always been a gathering place for the local population and later became the most attractive locations for tourists. In 2016, Betina got a fully refurbished town square that is just next to the popular Murter harbor. A new monument to the Betina Square was erected as a monument to beton shipbuilders, a sculpture of a boy holding a ship. Considering that Betina is a cradle of wooden shipbuilding, the whole new square is made up of a kind of open-air museum devoted specifically to the bethany fishmongers and is a unique project in Croatia. The most beautiful ships of Betina's wooden shipbuilding have been preserved and presented in the best possible way. The museum consists of 45 traditional wooden boats moored in the harbor.
